I met Andrea at a friend’s birthday party and soon discovered that we share the same last name!  Perhaps her husband and my husband are distant relatives.  I was so excited when she asked me to take photos of her pregnant belly.  She’s adorable pregnant and her husband and two boys are so excited for baby Zoe’s arrival.  I had a really fun time photographing them!

Every year I have so much fun taking the annual team photos for the DU Pioneers Cheerleading Team.   I’m unofficially the official cheer photographer.   Check out their web page for individual pictures of the girls.

So, I wasn’t sure if this day was going to be the best day for outdoor pictures.  But, the falling snow ended up creating the perfect backdrop for Nicole & Jeremy’s Christmas pictures!  It was pretty chilly too, but that just helped these two snuggle close to stay warm.

Little Elina was such a treat to photograph.  She’s such a mellow, good-natured baby, and was happy to just chill out and let me take her picture.  Her mom and dad are pretty mellow and good-natured so that must be where she gets it from.

I had the pleasure of spending a crisp Sunday morning keeping up with the Joneses: two adorable boys, two adoring parents, and two very well-behaved & photogenic doggies.  

I hope that if William and Marzerlena (Z) have another baby, they chose a name that starts with “Y”…then it will be complete, W, X, Y & Z!   However, even without the letter Y, William and Z have the most adorable little almost-2-year-old, Xavier!  He’s head strong and knows exactly what he wants, and he’s also super sweet and really smart.   I had fun photographing him playing around in his room last weekend.

What a sweet baby girl Katherine is!  I’m pretty sure she has her mommy and daddy wrapped around her little finger, it’s obvious that they adore her.  I had the pleasure of photographing them on two occasions in the past month!

Sara Beth and I have been friends since about the 5th grade.  We grew up in the same neighborhood and we had our children within 6 months of each other.  I’ll never forget the first time I met little Jack and Noah, Sara Beth & Matthew’s twin boys.  They were so tiny and precious!  Now they are rambunctious preschoolers who have so much fun together!  Sara Beth is a budding photographer herself, so I was honored to spend part of an afternoon photographing such a fun family.

I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable baby the other day.  Little Meghan has these precious big brown eyes surrounded by thick dark lashes, and such a sweet rosy cherub face.  She was so easy to photograph and she really seemed to enjoy it.  Hard to tell from these pictures, but she was squealing and kicking her legs the whole time!

Tim, Olivia and I made it to the mountains only a few times this summer/fall.  One of these times was at the end of September when we tried to hike a trail near Brainard Lake.  The weather was gorgeous, the aspens were at their peak, and unfortunately every body and their brother decided it was the perfect day for a hike too!  We couldn’t find parking at the trail head, so we settled for a walk around the lake.  We ventured into the surrounding forest a bit, just so that we could feel adventurous (my cowboy hat added to the adventurous spirit!)  The scenery was worth the trip, and Liv had a blast learning how to skip stones on the lake with daddy.
